Should i date him?

there is this boy at my school that likes me and i like him too,but my mom won't let me date him. you see, he and i date on and off(we date about a week then break-up). But the thing is, he wrote a note to me that said that he loved me and he wanted to date me again. I said no because every time we date, we break-up after a week. Then he said that he promises that he will never do that again. The other problem is, my BFF doesn't want me to date him because she doesn't want to see me get hurt again. What should i do?!?

baby girl, don't. guys will say anything to go out with you. and you already know what he's like. baby girl, he had his chance and blew it. there are tons of available guys out there, so don't just get stuck on this one. go out and have fun.

Your mom is this person and she has more wisdom than you do at this time in your life. She has been on the Earth longer and is looking out for you. Respect your mom and follow her desires about this boy. You are young and have lots of life ahead of you… there will be more wonderful men that will cross your path. You are not missing out on anything if you don’t date him. Have fun with your friends, enjoy your family, and focus in school so you can be successful there. Save serious dating for later on :)

Obviously there are some serious relationship problems if it keeps going on and off. If he's the one breaking it off all the time, he's just playing with you. He's with you while it suits him and leaves you when you are no longer convenient.

Reply:Your mom is wise and it is only looking out for you. She doesn't want to see you get hurt. Mom can tell that this rollercoaster relationship you guys have isn't doing anybody any good. This is a disater waiting to happen.
