First date: what should I do?

I just got this girl's phone number and I will call her in several days.





I was thinking, when i arrange the first date, where should I take her?





Also, what should we talk about? Should I ask her questions that she'll like to talk about?





In a nutshell, what should any guy do on a first date? I'm not really used to the dating scene since I graduated high school, I'm only 19, and relatively new to this thing. It's not like when you think someone's hot, you automatically become girlfriend and boyfriend.

First date: what should I do?
Ask her about her parents, and siblings, favorite things: animals, vacation spots, food, drinks, colors. Ask about her best friend and how long they have been friends, etc...





Go to dinner at someplace kind of nice: Red Lobster, Maggiano's, Cheesecake Factory...etc. BUT don't have the place picked out when you pick her up.....Just tell her that you were thinking about going to......"place 1 place 2 or place 3" and ask her what she thinks sounds best.





Afterwards, go to Stone Cold Creamery or Marble Slab Creamery...or someplace similar for ice cream....





Then go to a book store or a library, if it's open late. Grab a handfull of books and magazines that you like, encourage her to grab a few that she likes........then sit at one of the cafe tables or a couch and snuggle and read. Every now and then talk about something you're reading....I've found that for a girl, it's interesting to talk about the Cosmo articles.
