Date conversation topics?

Ok, so I have a date next week. I met her online 3 weeks ago, we have both been quite busy so we are just getting to the first date. I was actually supposed to have a date with her last Saturday, but her father had an aneurysm, so she ended up spending Saturday night in the hospital.


but to my question


So by the time we get to the first date we will have already spent 20 plus hours talking to each other, and have already gone over all of the getting to know you stuff. And I’m kind of worried that we will have nothing to say to each other.





I'm planning on going with family and childhood stuff, but i really doubt that will cover the entire date.





So do you people have any good suggestions for conversation starters?

oh don't worry! You can talk about your commute to the restaurant - the crazy people on the subway, the weirdos at work you gotta deal with -whatever! I like to tell funny stories about people I know -nothing bad or insulting, just interesting and funny stuff. I usually stay away from "Do you want kids?" etc types of questions. Ask her a lot of questions. Telling people about yourself all night can be a big snoooooze. It's the worst if you can't get a word in on a date. You could talk politics if you already know what she thinks. Otherwise, I'd tread carefully on that terrain.
Reply:try not to think too hard! just talk about whats on your mind conversation goes so much smoother that way then when you planned it!
Reply:sports, weather, new movies coming out, career, family, friends, but dont go that detailed in the family area until you invite her over to see your parents.
