Does anyone have any good first date ideas for a couple between the ages of 26-33?
I live in San Francisco, and of course there are things to do, but I need some ideas for a fun date. I don't mind dinner and a movie but I think a first date should be more fun. So the dinner and movie can wait till a later time.
Anyways I thought about taking my date to Pier 39, tons of restaraunts, scenery, an arcade and lots of shops. Won't be boring! But does anyone have any other ideas for a fun first date?
Thanks
First date ideas?
Bowling. My husband and I went bowling for our second date (first was lunch and a movie), and the bowling was a real ice breaker. We both made so many silly mistakes that we had to laugh.
Reply:not the movies can't talk. Um. dinner is nice. If you let her pick it out...or giver he chocie...even better
Reply:the ideas you have sound great. If I was your date I would love doing those things. My boyfriend took me to see a baseball game and i loved it some girls like that kind of thing. A walk on the pier at night is very romantic. Good luck on your date
Reply:Take her to a comedy club, I myself love to laugh, and keeping her spirits up will guarantee your likeability, just dont try telling jokes on top of the jokes they are saying on stage, that can get a little grating...Otherwise have a ball sweety.-Rachel.
Reply:for me a great first date is cooking her dinner, or something completely off the wall. I live in DC, so for me the Zoo or a musem (her interests decide which) with a picnic, made by me i might add, usually does the trick. It allows us to be ourselves, won't cost much and can be planned early in the day. that way if the chemestry is good, we go to my or her place, cook together and have 2 dates in a day. if it's not right, we both have time to salvage a good day with friends or alone.
Reply:You need to do something that will allow you to talk and get to know each other. If you like each other no matter what you do you will have a good time. I've learned that from my experience.
Reply:one of the most romantic dates that I have ever been on was a carriage ride. Don't know if you have those in San Fran but it is a good way to get to know one another where a movie does not allow you to do that. Maybe a "later" dinner, then a carriage ride, I know it may sound cheesey but it worked for me...or the pier then off to somewhere more quiet so you two can talk...
Reply:sorry, i'm 19 but i'll try to help. um, try to appeal to what she likes. if she likes fashion take her to a fashion show, art, art gallery, music, a show with a band she likes etc... its not want you want, its what she wants. then the next dates could be mutual, like movies, then do something you want and repeat. hope that helps.
