Due date help??

Ok my very first ultrasound showed 7w1d, with the due date of Feb 11th.


My due date according to my period showed a due date of Feb 3rd.





I had to have another ultrasound 4 weeks later due to vaginal bleeding, and I should of been 11w1d,but it showed 12w3d, with a due date of Feb 3rd.





I had another ultrasound at 20 weeks, showed a due date of Feb 3rd again, also one at 34 weeks, which showed Feb 2nd.


My uterus measures to the due date of Feb 3rd, but I was in the hospital this week for contractions, and the doctor there kept saying my due date is really the 11th, after I told him my obgyn is using Feb 3rd. So I am very confused,


which would you go by?

Feb 3rd your ultra sounds have been very consistant with feb 3 The doctorgoes by the 1st day of your last cycle.


i had 4 children and i always gave birth closer to the ultra sound date then the doctors calculated date. my last child the doctor told me march 8th the ultra sound said feb 26 i gave birth feb 27


my daughter the doctor said september 14 the ultra sound said sept 4 i gave birth sept 6

Reply:Due dates usually can be plus or minus 5 or so days so I would count on the 3rd but could be as late or early as the 8th or jan 28th.
Reply:Due dates are never right on the money. Your actual due date may be the 11th of February from the first date of your last period, but your due date may change due to the size of the baby herself/himself not by the size of the uterus itself, as that doesn't tell the size of the baby. Plus, going from the first day of your last period is merely a tool that they use to guesstimate and through the sonogram is where the truth really lies because for all they know you could have gotten pregnant from the first couple of days of your period and up to 2 weeks earlier than your period. That's what mine and my daughters doctors' have told us and she got pregnant on July 4th and is due April 20th and I did July 6th and due April 22nd. But I am actually having mine a week early because of C-section. I hope this helps you, but why worry now? It's too close to the time of arrival for you to worry over something so trivial.

Reply:Since most signs point to the 3rd i would go with that. sounds like you're gonna be having a baby soon. congrats. :)
Reply:well i would go off the scan dates and assume you are due feb 3rd but its only ever a guide


baby's can come early or late I'm not sure why they would be telling you its wrong just because your having contractions technically if you were to go into labor now your term so things would be fine
Reply:I would go by your period...it's kinda funny how you always think being pregnant is an exact science, and then when you finally are, nothing makes any sense! I had to see 3 diff. drs at my ob and they all 3 gave me a different date...just be ready, it sounds like the big day is soon!!!
Reply:I would say you could be about to meet your little one very soon! The dates all seem to keep coming bak to the 3rd but at the end of the day your baby will come when it is ready to meet the world! I would keep a bag packed now tho coz it does sound imminent!
