It's bothering me. Why is he being so cheap? I have been through several dating situations over the years, and this was never an issue. The guy always genuinely offered to pay. I am 100% sure he is interested in seeing me now, and in the future (he eagerly sets up all the dates) and he even mentioned that he is exclusively dating me since he doesn't date more than 1 at any time. Should I bring this up to him, or keep quiet and play along? I hv no problem paying my share, but....I just feel he should genuinely offer to confidantly pay for us both atleast one time? I'd hate to spoil something good because of this issue. How should I put it across to him in a nice way? Your thoughts? I am feeling bitter and a bit resentful with this strange selfish behavior.
Fifth date: he still asks me "you wanna split"? How shd I handle this?
Dump his cheap ***. No Gentleman would go this long without offering to pay for a meal. You should be very resentful cause he does not respect you.
Reply:the only time the girl should ever have to pay for a date is after there has been a confirmed established long term relationship, until then he should be paying
Reply:Tell him you're an old fashioned girl when it comes to dating.
Reply:Ask him one time if it would be ok if he would pay your share cause your kinda low on cash and see what he says!
Reply:be a team player...split the bill
Reply:Well if you guys are exclusive as you have said you are Than maybe offer to pay for you both next time you go out and maybe he will get the hint from that and follow suit. At least that way you are not feeling ackward about having to try and find a "nice" way of saying it. If after you have paid for a date and he still doesn't get the hint.................start filling your calandar and become unavailable when he wants to go out. If he asks why then you have to bite the bullet and tell him. Good Luck!!
Reply:Yeah, sounds like the dude is so cheap.
You should dump the dude very fast and search for a new dude that is generous and will pay the bill all the time.
Reply:THERE ARE OTHER BIGGER AND BETTER FISH IN THE POND, MY GOOD WOMAN!
Reply:if he asked you then.....i think he should pay the bill but since he want split.......be kind....give him ur part then...but .show a LITTLE disappointment....say " ah o o... ok"......
Reply:It's dump city baby and your the truck. You know what ya got to do now..... Greener Pasteur and all that

BLIND DATE run AWAY? SO I was SET up ON this STUPID BLIND DATE?
by my friend mike. i get to the bar, the only guy that looks like my date, looked like his older brother not like dude in the pic
my brother was supposed 2 wait for the cue %26amp; come in to take me home. how about that loser left me there stranded. so, at the tea shop im looking @ this guy @ now i'm getting nausea.
he had a nasty mustache that curled over %26amp; under his top lip, a pair of working boots all dusty @ dirty, a sweaty top, %26amp; the ugliest guy hands i've ever seen. he starts 2 tell me how he took the train got there early then decided to walk from 30th %26amp; market, all the way 2 5th %26amp; south st. (for all of you in philly you know how far that is) then he started smelling like musty sweat...
needless to say i made myself sick %26amp; that date was over. i took a cab home %26amp; the cabby said 2 me, ' pardon me mam, please tell me that was your dad '
do you have a horror blind date story? how did you get out of it?
who tricked you into going on it? and did they pay dearly?
BLIND DATE run AWAY? SO I was SET up ON this STUPID BLIND DATE?
I've only gone on one blind date in my life, and that was enough for me. He dressed like 'The Skipper' from Gilligan's Island and danced like 'Re-Run' from What's Happenin'....
I don't know which was worse... The big anchor buttons on his blazer or the kickin' and pointin' and head noddin'....
I do know that I took a hand full of aspirin and kept drinking Stolichnaya - neat - hoping I would slip into a coma. That just gave me a blinding headache - which is how I got out of it.
My co-worker and I decided to go out. She asked her boyfriend to bring a friend - she didn't know it was Mr. Pop-Lock. I was not amused but I eventually forgave her.... Now all I have to do is one of them dance moves and we can't even work for the rest of the day from laughing.

Wedding date dilema? Need opinions and advice!!?
Ok so the wedding date that me and my fiance picked was July 23, 2008 because it would be 7~23~08. We thought it would be nice because by birthday lands on a 23rd and his on a 7th and its like combining the two days to make our wedding day. My fiances grandfather died i and he thought on July 22nd which i thought was cutting it close but we could deal with it, and then i found out that the anniversary of his death is actually on July 23. would it be rude/wrong if we kept the date? My fiance said he would be fine, but what about his grandmother? Should we keep the date or think of anohter date?
Wedding date dilema? Need opinions and advice!!?
I think it should be okay to keep the date, but just to make sure nobody's feelings are hurt, ask your fiance's grandmother and anyone else that you are concerned about. It is really wonderful of you to be so considerate of other people's feelings.
Reply:Ask his grandmother and parents. Make sure there will be no hurt feelings, if so then you should push it elsewhere. If not I would do a thing on the programs, and do a thing for those who couldn't be here today, we remember (grandpas name) who may not be here in person but in spirit.
Not worded like that, but I think his family would be deeply delighted that the two of you took time and the effort to include him on your special day.
Reply:I would talk to his grandmother and explain why you chose the date and asked if it would bother her or not. If she says ok, then go for it!
I like how you chose your date btw.
Reply:First of all, I love your date because of the reasoning behind it. I agree with the others by asking the grandmother and making her feel special on that day. Secondly, I would suggest using a rose to recognize him on your wedding day. You can write this in your program and have the minister make a comment during the ceremony. We did this for all of our deceased grandparents including a grandfather who past away one month beforehand. It will honor his grandfather as well as give the grandmother happy memories on the anniversary as well as it will surround her with family on a day that normally would be difficult for her.
Reply:I would move it a week or two either direction.
Reply:Your Grandmother would probably consider it an honor. And your Grandfather would too if he knew it. Go for it. I think it's a beautiful idea.
Reply:Ask her, say I know this may be hard but in some way I feel that Grandpa would be with us on our day too. I think he would really have liked us getting married. I just didn't want to hurt your feelings so I thought I should ask. I love you both so much and it is up to you we could move it, but this is a the reason why we picked this day was because %26lt;name%26gt; and my birthdate was on these days and it would mean alot to us. Give her a hug and let her do the rest of the talking. Do this in person.Good Luck
Reply:ask his grandmother what she thinks
Reply:Its wonderful you are thinking about other people when it comes to your wedding. Talk to his grandma and explain why you have picked the date and that you in no way want to belittle her grief on what could be a rough day for her and others in the family.
If she is comfortable with it, make a point of briefly honoring his grandfather during the reception and thank her for being an inspiration for your future life together.
Reply:I suggest you to find a different date. How are you going to invite the family and relatives to your wedding on the same day of the anniversary of the grandfather's death? No, please change your date. Plus, July 23, 2008 is on a Wednesday. Do you really want to get married on Wednesday? I suggest you to move the date at least 2 months away from the anniversary. I know that you are trying to make the wedding date more special by combining your birth date and his. But getting married is already a special occasion. What's more special? Both of you found each other!
Reply:I would first discuss it with his grandmother and see how she feels about it.
I do think that having your wedding on that day would help remember his grandfather in a good way and it would be a celebration of life not death.
If his grandmother seems to have a problem with it then I would change the day.
Reply:It may be a nice way of keeping his memory alive. I would ask grandma what she woudl prefer for you to do. When you ask let her know that you respect the years that she was with his grandpa and that you wish for her to enjoy and celebrate with you at your wedding but if that day would be emotionally too hard for her you are open to moving your wedding date. She may like the idea of you getting married then or she may wish for you to move the date slightly....ask her opinion and then take it into consideration, remember you want her to enjoy and share in your special day.
Reply:Keep the date, you can add happiness to the date, dont focus on sad times, bring everyone together on a happy one.
Reply:I personally would move it up a week or back a week just because I would always have that on my mind and that is not something that you want. You want this to be your HAPPY day and no one else's.....that sounds rude....but you know what I mean. That would be terrible for his Grandmother sad on your wedding day and for every single anniversary.
Reply:it's hard to pick a wedding date that is best for everyone. if you change it for one reason, you will find another reason wrong with a different date. i would call anyone (mainly the grandmother) and make sure it won't be rude or anything.
Reply:Keep the date. Turn sad memories associated with the date into happy ones, the beginning of a union between two people who love one another enough to make a committment.
It will help his grandmother keep her mind off of the sad anniversary, just spoil her a little on the day, make her feel special. Good luck
Reply:Ask his grandmother. If she is ok with it, offer a small prayer to him in church or have someone offer a toast to him and all those who can't be at your wedding.
Reply:I probably would change the date, especially since it's not like he passed away on the 23rd of another month. Since it is the anniversary, I would steer clear of that date. However, thats just me and you're a different person. The best thing to do is ask his grandmother and his parents what they think.
Good luck and I hope things work out!

Due date today! hurting? help!?
Okay, Today is my due date. My whole body has been hurting all day. For the past 5 hours I have had contractions 3-4 minutes apart. They are really strong but not in my pelvic area. Every now and then during a contraction ill get a sharp pain in my lower abdomen but all my contraction pains are in my back. It hurts really bad. right above my tailbone. and i also have alot of pressure in the front, but it just doesnt hurt up there, only in the back. If I went to the hospital do you think they would send me home since its my due date or would they induce me?
btw i know less than 5 percent give birth on the due date.. but my due date is over in a few hours.
Due date today! hurting? help!?
If your contractions are 3-4 min apart you need to get to the hospital! A lot of women only have back labor which is what is sounds like is happening with you... Call someone to take you to the Hospital immediately if you don't have anyone there or can't get anyone to take you call for an abulance... Oh and Congratulations on your new little one!
Reply:call the doctor and ask.if you wait to long you cant get any pain medicatoin.CALL THE DOCTOR!
Reply:I THINK YOU SHOULD GO TO THE HOSPITAL NOW. NO THEY WILL NOT SEND YOU BACK HOME. ESPECIALLY SINCE YOU ARE DUE TODAY. YOUR CONTRACTIONS ARE CLOSE ENOUGH, GO NOW!!! GOOD LUCK
Reply:if your contractions are regular you need to go to the hospital now!!! you should go when they are 5 min apart! go to the hospital anyway....they will send you home if it isn't time!
I was born 2 hrs 30 min past my due date...
I was in labor with first 4 hours %26amp; 2nd 3 hours....if you wait too long, they can't give you epidural!
Contgratulations, BTW...if it's a blue eyed girl, name her after me... ;o)
Reply:All of my babies gave me pain in my back. So, I think you should go to the hospital because of how close your pains are coming.
Reply:whether they send you home or not, going to the hospital will do you and your baby no harm.
Reply:SOME PEOPL;E HAVE CONTRACTIONS THAT WAY GET YOUR BUTT TO THE HOSPITAL AND GET CHECKED OUT IMMEDIATELY AND KEEP US POSTED. IF IT IS NOT CONTRACTIONS FOR THE BABY THEN YOU NEED TO MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS OKAY......
Reply:babydoll why are you on a computer go to the hospital it might not come today it could be after 12am good luck on you delivery
Reply:You should go to the hospital because they can tell you if you are dialated and if your contractions are 3-4 minutes apart it is likely you are dialating. Water breaking as a sign of labor is very rare and unlikely to happen so don't let that hold you back. Good luck on delivery.
Reply:i'm not sure, and my answer won't help you with anything, but GOOD LUCK,,, THE BIG DAY, WOW! :D
Reply:uh...i'd call my doctor or something
Reply:i had all my labor pains in my back, i had nothing in the front. i think you should go to the hospital if they are 3-4 minutes apart. my were 7 minutes apart and i was 5cm when i got there. had a baby boy 7 hours later. oh and my waters didn't break. they had to after 5 hours as nothing was happening. good luck
Reply:If you have any feeling at all that you should go to the hospital, go for it. Better safe than sorry.
And if they send you home, they send you home. At leas you know yo and your baby are alright.
Reply:your about to have a baby and your on the computer!!! Go to the doctor woman!! GEEZ
Reply:call the labor and delievery dept in your hospital, explain what you are feeling and they will tell you what to do from there. If you go in they could send you home. start timing the length of the contraction not the time between. this will help to dtermine which stage of labor you are actually in. good luck hopefully everything will come along quickly for you today.
Reply:they probably wont induce you if you are not in labor.
sounds to me like you are in labor, why dont you call your OB and ask if you should go in. In the mean time walk walk walk, up and down stairs if ya can, and have some sex, that always seems to help move things along
Good luck
Reply:i would say your in labour, go to the hospital.
Reply:Honey, if your contractions are 3-4 minutes apart, then you need to go to the hospital NOW!
Reply:go to the hospital if you have sparp pains it could mean alot of things. you could have a breach baby or mabey the umblical cord is notted and baby cant breath. go to the hospital but what ever you do not FREAK OUT YOU NEED TO STAY COM AND BREATH
Reply:No need to induce. The contractions will get stronger. START WALKING, just back and forth.
Good luck and congratulations!

New to dating...post first date phone call?
I have had many boyfriends but all started in highschool where dating is different. i am in university now and i had a first date with a guy on saturday the 9th. the date went well and he even extended it by asking me back for a movie. we kissed multiple times and i felt it ended on a good note. how long does it normally take for the guy to call to make the second date? i know we both had papers to write yesterday so it was no surprise to me that there was no phone call then. I am just wondering how long i should wait before i can consider it a failed attempt.
thanks!

Isn't there like a 2-3 day rule thing for guys? That way he doesn't sound desperate. I think that you should wait the 2-3 days. If he doesn't call by friday (an extra two days just in case something came up for him), then you should be concerned.
Reply:You need to read that book He's Just Not That Into You
By Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo. I read it and sorry honey, he's just not that into you. If a guy really likes you he is going to call. Paper or no Paper he's going to call. Don't waste your time move on.

Reply:that depends on how he liked you if he loves you then for sure he will call soon!
