Dating protocols: is there a proper way to date?

Is there a mode of behavior that supposed to occur when you date? Rules like: no kissing on the 1st date. Physical contact etiquette. How long to stay out? Should you invite someone in or not?

If there are, what are the rules that apply to dating?

Dating protocols: is there a proper way to date?
Over the years I’ve discovered that the basics are the most important and should never be forgotten. If you seem to have a lot of first dates but no second or third dates, a look at these tips on dating etiquette may help.

Reply:Well there's nothing like the ten commandments... But from my personal experience girls seem to like it when I've decent by old fashioned standards.

I often take a woman out for movies and dinner. Afterwards, we might go for a walk, or I'll drive her home. If she enjoyed the date and would like to continue seeing me, generally she'll kiss me. So we'll probably stay out a few hours (enough time to see a movie and have a bite to eat). Depending on the woman she might invite me in to her place (often she'll say something along the lines of "would you like to come in for a drink? some coffee maybe?"). Sometimes she'll hint or ask to come to my place. Sometimes I'll drop her off home and that will be the end.

Reply:Not really, who knows you might feel an instant connection with your date. No time to put barriers. Sure you could invite somebody up for coffee no problem or stay up all night with her talking and kissing? However I would not expect any sex on the first date, so get that off your mind.
Reply:wrong "jacob", just take things easy and follow the flow. I'm sure everything will work out fine, dont listen to top contribushit people like "jacob"
Reply:The protocol basically is that you should never say openly that the date is merely negotiation for exchanging sex for money.

Women don't like that sort of thing being brought into the open.

They're in denial as to the true nature of 'relationships'.
