Usually by the date of your last period. But they are so close anyways I would pick a number in the middle and go with that. Once you start seeing a doc/midwife, which ever you choose, they will be able to give you a more accurate reading. Plus as your pregnancy progresses they could change your date, because they may notice that the baby is getting bigger, or your belly is so many centimeters and your weeks are off. It all just depends. But you sound pretty positive of when you concieved and when you had your last period and the docs will go by what you say.

They say count 9 months and 7 days from the last day of your period.
Reply:Go by the day the last day of your mestrual cycle, the doctors go by that, and depending on the length of your cycle they tell you the day..

Actually, when I went in for a ultrasound they mesured my baby, in the computer some how, then he told me i was excatly 8weeks and 2 days.
Reply:the first day of your last period is what your doctors will go by the whole preg.

(i really dont understand this because technically you were not preg. until conception...lol)....but thats what they do so i would go by that

congrats!
Reply:It its impossible to tell when your conception date was as fertilization can take place a few days afterwards. Also your last period makes only a "vague" date. When you go for your first ultrasound scan, the size of the baby will be the best indication of when it is due. Having said that, it will be born when it is good and ready and not before!!
