Is it okay to date my friend's date?

Today my friend and I went on a group "date". His parents don't allow him or trust him to go on single dates, and they also don't let him go two dates in a row with the same girl. So I was trying to find a date all last week and couldn't find one. He said he really wanted to go on this date because he wants to go on a date with the girl he really likes ASAP. Since I couldn't find a date, he said to bring my brother and we'd call it a friend hang-out.





So all four of us were together and stuff having fun mini golfing and eating ice cream. But he doesn't really like her. I texted him after the date and asked what he doesn't like about her and then if he would be fine with me dating her. He said go for, she's all yours, and he sent me her number.





I'm liking this girl, and I want to go on a date with her. But I don't know if it would be okay with her, since my friend said she has really showed interest in her. Do you think it's a fine idea?

If your friend is fine with it, then there should be no hard feelings. As long as you have asked your friend first.
